Counting your Blessings
“You cannot control the world outside, but you can choose what you will bring into yourself. If you do not see anything of value in your life, begin by finding one thing of beauty every day until it becomes a habit.”-Ron Rathbun It is in the spirit of that thinking, and in line with the law of attraction, that members of an unschooling list I belong to were inspired to post our list of things we are glad for. here’s mine, I hope it inspires you to create one of your own.1- being able to work from home with my husband after spending 6 years working 7days a week, 12-16 hours a day and actually LIVE at our house again2- major magazine assignments3-supportive friends on the same parenting road4- snuggling with the kids all day, watching old movies on demand (so what if it was inspired by a head cold, it was the best sickness I’ve ever had) 5-no car payments6- no credit card debt7- that Mary Kay cellulite cream really works8- happy healthy kids 9- total control over our income If I had to add anything to that list, I’d add karma. I am glad karma exists, so that the person who stole my laptop will eventually get what they deserve. I am glad that I don’t have to drive through the neighborhood hunting them down to run over them, I can relax and know that the Universe will take care of it and all is well. All of the research and work I have to do to recreate all of my current writing assignments will be joyful. Right?
